    The Coturnix Quail also known as the Pharaoh Quail originated from Japan and are an excellent addition to the homestead. Coturnix quail are hardy, resistant to disease and quick to develop reaching maturity around  ten weeks of age with hens often laying an egg per day at just six weeks. With a short incubation period of around 16 days there a great way to increase your homesteads self sufficiency.
    All of our hatching eggs are picked and shipping fresh from the farm. There are no eggs that are older than six days included. This guarantees a higher hatch rate. Due to the fragility of hatching eggs all orders are shipped Monday to prevent a delay receiving the eggs.
