    Description

For sale here is one of several replacement parts I am selling from a remarkable WORKING Coinola Player Piano from the Operator's Piano Co., manufactured in the early 1920s and refurbished 16 years ago. This model uses the A rolls and was also fitted for MIDI capability. I recently disassembled the piano, saving everything that appeared to have any replacement value, and I am currently listing individual parts.
This listing is for the Hammer Rail Assembly. It looks like a couple of the hammers are a bit loose. I welcome further questions about this piece. Please read the information below, as it provides very important additional information about this sale. This piece weighs 28 pounds.
You can see a pre-disassembly video of this piano on youtube with the search "Coinola 25 Cent Player Piano." This piano was tested just before disassembly and was in working order, and I disassembled it as carefully as possible. That said, I cannot guarantee nothing happened in the disassembly process, so I am selling this piece as it is, for parts and repair and refurbishing, and it will not be subject to returns. I show a couple of pictures of the piano prior to disassembly, but this sale is only for the hammer rail assembly you see in the first pictures.
Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on.  I am listing several parts from this piano, but I am not able to combine shipping because of the size, weight and vintage nature of these parts. I do, however, offer two forms of shipment, so that you can choose the one with the best price to your location.  This will be carefully packaged, and I have a great track record shipping fragile, collectible items. This is from a smoke-free home.    Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end.  Have fun.
