Description

An interesting Aeroflot first flight cover from Lagos, Nigeria to Vienna, Austria. Franked with Nigeria Scott #101, the ½d Peanuts stamp, #103, the 1½d Adult Education stamp and #105-106, the 3d Oyo Carver and 4d Weaver stamps, all from 1961. The stamps are tied to the cover by a Lagos postmark with an unclear date that appears to be July 20, 1970. This cover measures 163mm x 115mm. See scans for condition.
