Two LED indicator lights tell you when the unit has power and when the unit is heating.  Right light tells you there is power to the unit, and the Left light tells you when the unit heater is on.
Thermostatically controlled to automatically come on when temperatures are below 40 degrees F.
This is a De-icer, not to be confused with a water heater.  Will not heat your water unless temperatures are below 40 degrees.  This keeps your electric bill down and is how all heated poultry products work.
