***I LOVE my chickens and that goes for their eggs as well.  I LOVE to hatch chicks and sometimes I want to go in and candle everyday.  BUT I know from experience that this is one of the top reasons your eggs will not hatch.  The less you handle the better your results.  Remember, the eggs have already been shipped lets not add more stress to the eggs by handling them too much.
Let your eggs sit wide side up for 12 to 24 hours before putting in the incubator.
