Thank you for your interest in my Egg Auction. If you purchase Hatching Eggs from our farm, We will send you 6++ plus a few more Fertile Dark Brahma eggs for you to hatch.
I do include cold packs when weather is hot as cool eggs have a much better chance at hatching then hot eggs.
At Our Farm my line of Dark Brahmas are super sweet and confident. they do well confined or free range, they are very active foragers, and a pleasure to be around.
Let me assure you that you will be receiving the very best hatching egg that money can buy. I properly handle the eggs before shipment including Candling eggs for defects and cracks that most sellers don't bother doing- I keep eggs between 55 to 60 degrees, and rotate them daily. I only send one or two day old eggs- but there might be delays in receiving your order as while the post office is having delays i will only be shipping Monday thru Wednesdays at this time- also be kind and remember we are at the mercy of a small animal laying eggs, they work very hard and have natural slow times.
when you receive eggs you should candle the eggs and look at the air cells and let that be your guide to putting them in your incubator, don't just use the blanket time frame of 24 hours to put eggs in your incubator understand all mail order eggs will arrive differently and you need to let eggs sit till air cells are nice and round
I have a tried and proven way to package my eggs so the air cells arrive intact. I cannot control how the post office treats our packages but I have had very few total losses this year.
to get great hatches-while waiting to set your eggs please also handle them correctly and keep them in a cool dark place. Any questions on this please ask as this will significantly help you to have a great hatch.
Don't be in a hurry you paid good money for eggs you want them to hatch. I will also include tips for successful hatching of mail ordered eggs.
As I improve my chickens I mostly focus on egg laying as the Egg is everything, I follow the UK standards for body conformation because the right body shape does make a difference in how your chickens lay plus I choose hens with wide pubic bones to aid in the ability to lay eggs well. I also follow the APA for correct coloring and combs on all my stock. What does this mean to you? that at our farm we go out of our way to bring you Beautiful correct chickens that will lay eggs well.
