    Description

Fresh fertile hatching eggs from our Muscovy ducks. Our flock is comprised of our beautiful chocolate pied drake and hens ranging in color from black pied to chocolate barred. See list of possible duckling colors below. Photos are of some of the parent birds as well as examples of ducklings.
We breed our Muscovies for temperament first and foremost - our flock is incredibly friendly and gentle, and are consistent layers throughout the laying season (usually March through November for our area). Muscovy ducks are a wonderful dual purpose bird, with drakes growing to processing weight quickly and yielding delicious meat that cooks more like steak than like other poultry. The hens are consistent producers of big beautiful eggs throughout the warm months, not to mention their friendly and quirky personalities are a joy to have around the farm. They eat any bug, reptile, or amphibian they can catch - I have seen our ducks eat everything from yellow jackets to bullfrogs, and if free ranged (like ours are) they are incredibly capable and efficient foragers. We always offer high quality feed free choice to our free ranging roosters and our ducks, but our ducks rarely touch it and prefer to forage for their own food. It is important to note that Muscovies are, despite their size, very capable fliers - if you do not want them to fly be sure to clip the flight feathers on at least one wing.
Possible duckling colors: black, black pied, chocolate, chocolate pied, chocolate barred, chocolate barred pied, white, black capped white, & chocolate capped white.
Our farm is NPIP/AI tested and clean (

If you would like your eggs held for pickup at your local post office instead of sent out for delivery please send us a message with your phone number when you make your purchase.
While we cannot control how the eggs are handled during shipping, we can do our very best to ensure that the eggs get to you safely. We package the eggs in foam, wrapped in bubble wrap on every side. We put crinkle paper or shredded paper around the outside, on top, and extra bubble wrap underneath for added padding and support. Other than the foam and the bubble wrap, packing materials are biodegradable and can go into your compost! We mark boxes with "no x-ray", Fragile/This Side Up stickers, and (if applicable) your phone number and "hold for pickup" instructions so you will be notified as soon as your eggs arrive. A packing slip and NPIP 9-3 form will be included for your records. We have been shipping eggs this way all year and have had great success rates with them arriving with no damage. I check fertility rates weekly.
By purchasing you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for your hatch rates, or any damage to the eggs after they leave our farm. If your eggs do arrive damaged you must fill out the claim with USPS, we cannot do it for you.
    Happy hatching!
