Description

This early 20th century piano player turns any piano into a player-piano.  It will also work with any other keyboard instrument, electronic piano, or midi keyboard that has standard 'piano-scale' keys. (Most midi keyboards do not!)
It works with 65-note player-piano rolls as well as the specialty "Themodist" rolls (an early form of automatic expression)
The machine pushes up to the keyboard and plays the instrument with soft felt-covered 'fingers.'  Nothing is attached to the piano, no modifications to the piano are needed.
This example does not currently work, but is complete, undamaged, and has had no previous restoration or repair attempts.  Pianolas are simple and straightforward to restore, with many thousands of piano rolls available to run it.
