    This auction is for a Banjo Standard C Tuning  Fretboard Instructional Poster. Standard C Tuning is the same as the most common Open G, but with the wound 4th string tuned down a whole step to a 'C'. It gives the banjo a nice warm and plunky sound. This tuning was commonly used for songs like "Home Sweet Home," "Soldier's Joy," and "Turkey in the Straw."
    This is a great learning tool for beginning and intermediate banjo players. The 11" x 17" instructional guide is nice to hang on the wall wherever you practice for easy reference, instead of flipping through a book. This chart includes the notes of the banjo displayed on the fretboard and chords for this tuning. This information can be found in books, but rarely on one easy to read chart!
