Description
We are pleased to offer a lot of 53 pieces of silverplated flatware in Coronation, a popular pattern from Community Plate. The design is a floral design that covers the handle; it was introduced in 1936 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII, who abdicated prior to his coronation to marry Wallis Simpson. The flatware is presented in a hard to find walnut demilune box.Included are:
8 hollow handle dinner knives
8 dinner forks
16 teaspoons
2 table spoons
8 salad or dessert forks
8 oval soup or dessert spoons
master butter knife
sugar shell
gravy ladle
Condition:
Very good - no silver wear or loss other than normal wear appropriate to age with no major issues. They have not been polished but condition is guaranteed to be as stated. There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined. Any dark spots in the photos are reflections only. Box has a loose hinge; otherwise is in very good condition.
