    Fire Department Break Away Caps are for use on Fire Department Connections to provide protection against foreign material from entering the FDC components and are designed to easily break off in an emergency.  Caps are sold in a pack of 2.  Aluminum, Green, 3" caps fit on FDC outlets measuring 3 5/8" on the inside coupling
