Description
FPGA development board open source RISC-V Linux Lattice ECP5 ULX3SThe ECP5 baseboard and modules have been launched, the information link: https://github.com/wuxx/Colorlight-FPGA-Projects
Module specifications:
FPGA: LFE5U-25F-6BG381C 24K LUT
SDRAM: EM638325BK-6H 8MB
SPI Flash: GD25Q16CSIG 2MB
Ethernet PHY: Broadcom B50612D x 2
The difference between v6.0 and v7.0: There is no difference in pins, but v7.0 is brand new, v6.0 has been discontinued from the original factory, and is currently second-hand, only about 5 pieces are left.
Special Note:
1. The Flash chip on the module uses GD25Q16, which is suspected of being write-protected, and the bitstream cannot be burned into the Flash chip (burning into the internal SRAM of the FPGA is possible). The easiest way to solve this problem is to install it yourself Flash chip is replaced with W25Qxx series chip such as W25Q128. (This problem has been solved by software, no need to manually weld and replace)
2. This board is mainly developed under linux using open source tool chain. The official IDE software of lattice under windows does not support this downloader (it can be burned with other tools under windows).
At present, there is a small batch of dual Gigabit Ethernet backplanes that can be used for development and testing, and the number is small. If you are interested, please click
