Gorgeous Cameo Italiano Brooch Pin Gold Filled Pendant Signed Di Luca 18" Chain
Excellent condition!
This brooch is handcrafted from shell in Italy by artists at Cameo Italiano (Google the company for lots more info). This cameo is from a vintage collection that is no longer on their website. Judging from the clasp alone, I'd guess the piece is from the 1950s or 1960s.
The back of the brooch is signed di luca (Di Luca is the company's family name - 3 generations of Di Lucas have made these cameos).
The inside back of the brooch frame is marked A & Z 1/20 14K GF. The fancy clasp is marked 1/20 12K GF.
