This is an old obsolete porcelain street sign from the heart of historic downtown Honolulu. It  is 24" x 9". It says BEGIN > / S KUKUI ST. This sign was most likely at the corner of South Kukui Street and Queen Emma Street. Kukui Street ran from Queen Emma Street straight through Honolulu's Chinatown to Aala Street at its north end.
