    Description

    Antique IMPROVED ORDER RED MEN Vinita Indian Territory (Oklahoma) RIBBON Buffington Tribe 22.  IMP'D O.R.D. Vinita I.T. Ribbon is 7" and the fringe is another 1.5"
    The Indian Territory became Oklahoma in 1907 and this pre-dates that, by how much is unknown. Could be from the 1880's.
    One side of ribbon is red, blue and green, other side is dark blue with a silver eagle holding arrows and an olive branch.  Eagle has a shield marked T.O.T.E.  Lettering on both sides is silver.
    Red cloth triangle on dark blue side is torn and frayed. Theres a stain on this side. Edging on blue side is frayed and missing in some spots. Some of the fringe is missing.See photos as past of description.
