Description

Two pieces from Judd Manufacturing, c 1920s. The pen tray is 8" x 2 3/4". It is very textured with an Egyptian face mask, star, sword & horns. The paper clip, 4" x 2 1/2", has the same design as the pen tray, and they're part of a desk set. After the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, the Egyptian style would become a part of the Art Deco movement, making this a popular set. The tray is number #803 and the paper clip is #5263. No damage to the cast iron but the brass plating and polychrome colors have become very worn. I'm happy to offer these two together.
