A bit of history:
This Led Zeppelin handbill from the Tarrant County Convention Center in Texas marked the second time the band had visited the state. Their highly praised (and successful) 1970 North American Tour was slated to end in early August, but luckily for Texas fans, due to some health issues tour dates changed numerous times.
Press: Led Zeppelin Packs 14,000 Into Center
England's Led Zeppelin rock group packed nearly 14,000 persons into the Tarrant County Convention Center Auditorium Saturday night, setting a new rock music attendance record in Fort Worth.
Young people unable to enter the music-filled auditorium milled around on the outside of the auditorium, including some youths who had been sold counterfeit tickets at each. [8/23/70 / Telegram]
