You are buying is a 1920s lyon & healy kerschner banjo makers chicago Washburn style c 4 or 5 string tenor. The serial number is scratched off and hard to see. Very old very rare over or about 100 years old. This is one of the only vintage banjos that has a steel back not sure if it was originally on it or put on it. The banjo is in good or better condition the tuners turn and work the banjo does play take a look at the pictures and see what you think. Comes with the case that I got the banjo in. I got this banjo from one of my clients she said that this banjo is very old and has been sitting in her attic for 15+ years her husband that died was a collector for vintage musical instruments.

Width of banjo drum is 11 inches
10 inches from nut to the 12th fret
The nut is 1 inch across
