    I am a soft pastels artist and I love these soft pastels.  It is great for beginners, students, and artists.  The colors are bright, they are easily blended, and yet sturdy not easily crumbled.  The square edge can be used for drawing lines,  The colors last for a long time.  I purchased several different student grade brands, so far I like Mungyo gallery the most.  I also have the 1/2 stick Mungyo Gallery set, and the round edges as well.  Please check my other listings.
