Hi, and Thanks for looking at my Ad for the New Douglas Fir Spillway Dam Banjo Bridge.
This bridge design was developed by a couple of members of the Banjohangout, xnavyguy, and rollplayer.
After a lot of expermental designs, and testing, this design was one of the best they came up with.
They have given me their permission to build, and sell their design, for which I am gratful.
I build these bridges out of some Douglas Fir that I recovered from a cross board on a downed power pole, from a severe ice storm we had a couple of years back.  I don't know how old the wood is, but it has a very dense growth ring pattern, and really has a nice sound.  The design allows the string vibrations to go straight down to the banjo head, from each string.  The design of this bridge also prevents sagging, which is common on a lot of traditional bridge designs.  I have sold several bridges to Banjohangout Members, with great success.  Most customers say they love the tone, increased volume, and note separation, the bridge supplies. They seem to work really well on the cheaper, entry level banjos, but also improve the performance of the most expensive banjos.
This auction is for one, 4 or 5 String Bridge,  that I will build to your size, from 1/2" to 3/4", and regular or Crowe string spacing.
Shipping, and Handling, will be a flat rate of .50 to the lower 48,  .00 Overseas.
With a simple switch of the bridge, I think you will be amazed at how much better your banjo will sound.
