I hand make each and every one of these in my small shop. T
he patina and wear markings will vary from one to the next.
I handpick each piece o
f vintage silverplate
and try not to use visibly damaged pieces however there will often be character signs such as small scuffs, nicks, minor plate wear, and other love marks. I polish most pieces but still try to leave a little patina on my finished pieces. Very rarely will I use an acid bath to clean. I believe these pieces have a storied life and a severe cleaning damages the history. However, the customer is always right and I am equipped and able to remove about 99% of the patina and polish most pieces with prior arrangement. All of my vintage silverplate accessories and jewelry come with their own stories built in and I hope you or a loved one will continue to add stories and memories.
