    Description

    Hi,  I have for sale a kind of rare instrument.  It is a "Travelin" Banjo made by Epiphone for Gibson for a few years in the 1990's.  This 5 string open back banjo has had very little use, if any.  It still has the original tag on the back of the head.  There is no wear to the frets that I can see.  It still has all the original stickers on the back of the headstock.  It was made in Korea and set up in the US.  The action is nice and it plays well.  It is about 30" tall and the head is about 11" across.  It does have new strings.  I think I would probably tune it to A if I were going to hang onto it but we have a 2000. car repair bill so some extra stuff has to go.  It comes with the original gig bag and will be packed very carefully for travel.
