Sennelier uses an authentic formulation of the classic egg tempera used by artists since the Renaissance. This highly pigmented, professional quality alternative to oil paints is capable of creating detailed and complex effects. This introductory set of three 21ml primary egg tempera colors plus black and white is an excellent way to experience this highly archival, water-soluble painting medium. This set includes titanium white, lemon yellow, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue and ivory black.
