Antique Scrapbook Ulysses S. Grant the 3rd (Grandson of President Ulysses S. Grant.) Improved Order Of Red Man Order Of Pythias Hunting Pictures Lyndon Vermont ect. Very nice scrapbook believed to have been kept by a close family member. It contains at least 4 or 5 photos of Grant the 3rd, 2 original certificates from The Order of Red Man, 1 original certificate from The Order of Pythias, a typed letter from Grant, newspaper clippings of Grant, and other misc artifacts. Most of the documents and pictures pertaining to Grant are dated 1908 - 1914. There is other content that dates up to 1936. The first photo of Grant hunting is the first page of the scrapbook. The rest of the photos are listed in order of relative importance not the actual order of the book. All pages are shown in the collage photos except one blank page. The front and back of the book is shown in collage photo 6. The pages in the back of the book are mostly horse race newspaper clippings. This book is in fair condition. It shows wear from age and being in storage. Some of the photos and documents are faded and worn. The pages have stains and some torn areas. All of the items in the scrapbook are glued or permanently fixed to the pages. This scrapbook is being sold in as found condition and has not been altered in any way.
