Very Solid and Ornate Vintage Silverplate Grape Shears with Steel Cutting Blades

Description

Presented is a wonderfully solid and ornate pair of vintage grape shears, likely made in the early to mid-twentieth century. These shears are bright silverplate on brass, with a strong steel cutting surface. They are quite heavy and just brimming with high relief and finely textured grape leaf, coiling tendril, flower and vine decoration!
There are no marks or stamps on the piece.
The condition of the shears is excellent. There are no issues other than a one or two millimeter play in the blade juncture, which seems inherent in their production.
