Description
This is five string banjo from the 1890's. Do not know the maker. 12" head needs replacing. All the hardware intact (see photos). Inside of the pot is rosewood (see photos). Very nice tailpiece (see photos). Has a Pat. Applied For "adjuster" on the heel and dowel stick, not unlike what SS Stewart and Weymann did. Figured rosewood fingerboard which is in good condition. Some wear on the first two frets. One dot inlay missing. Rosewood headstock overlay (see photos). Fancy friction pegs. Two missing (see photos). Rosewood head. Should setup and cleanup nicely. Comes with a newer chipboard case. Thanks for looking and best of luck!
