    Description

    Vintage Derwent Pastel Pencil Set consisting of 90 Assorted Colored Pencils in a Professional Wooden Storage Box.  Includes 2 identical brochures, each of which has a Color Chart for the 90 pencils.
    Derwent (Great Britain), of course, is well-known for its high quality, fine art supplies.  Current Derwent products offer only 72 Pastel Pencils or less.  This was probably produced around the 1980's or 1990's.
    There are two lift-out wooden trays with 30 pencils each and another 30 pencils in the bottom of the box.  All held into position.  The set belonged to my mother who was a professional artist.
    I don’t believe this Set was ever used or, at the most, only lightly (check out the photos) and none of the Pencils have been sharpened down.  All in very good condition though one has a cracked base from age (pencil on far right in bottom of box).  The Professional Wooden Box is also in lovely condition.  A very special set.
