You may also specify the thickness if you have one, thin, medium or thick, medium is the usual choice,
You might want
thin
if there is very
little clearance
between the stretcher band and the pot (rim) of your instrument.

SOME AREAS FLUCTUATE EXTREMELY
AS FAR AS
*
HUMIDITY GOES,
SO YOU MAY WANT TO EITHER SPRAY THE SKIN WITH A WATERPROOFING AGENT,
OR HAVE AN EXTRA BRIDGE OF A DIFFERENT HEIGHT
(DRIER WEATHER=TIGHTER HEAD, DAMP=LOOSER).
YOU MAY NOT BE AT ALL EFFECTED!

THE BANJOHANGOUT (/GROUPS/HIDEHEADS) IS A GOOD SITE FOR DISCUSSIONS
ON EVERYTHING
RELATING TO SKIN HEADS!
PLEASE SPECIFY SIZE WHEN ORDERING!
i.e., SMALL DIAMETER FOR BANJO-UKE, etc.
THICKNESS
VARIES, SO SPECIFY THIN OR THICK IF YOU DON'T WANT MEDIUM!
The 16" size  will fit a 12" head banjo, the 15" size will work for an11" head,
and is easier to use since you don't have so much skin to pull (and wrestle with)
under the stretcher band.
Most banjo-ukes are typically 7" to *8" in diameter
and would use the 12" size head.
*(see my 8" Renaissance mounted head auction)
NOTE:
ODD SIZE BANJOS (NOT 11" OR 12" OR 10 15/16") AND BANJO-UKES NOT 8" HEAD DIAMETER
USUALLY NEED TO HAVE A SKIN HEAD, AND YOU (OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW)
WILL HAVE TO TRIM IT WITH A KNIFE AFTER IT IS INSTALLED
SINCE THERE WILL BE EXTRA SKIN STICKING UP.
YOU WILL NEED THE EXTRA SKIN TO PULL ON WHEN MOUNTING,
THAT'S WHY THE HEAD DIAMETER IS LARGER THAN YOUR INSTRUMENT DIAMETER.
I CAN LINK YOU TO
YOUTUBE
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS,
or
you can just google "mounting a calfskin banjo head"!
WET 'EM AND WRESTLE WITH 'EM 'TILL YOU GET 'EM DOWN!
PS, I ALSO CARRY ALL GAUGES OF METAL OR NYLON BANJO OR UKE STRINGS,
.50 A SET, AND
FLESH HOOPS (WIRE) FOR EACH
(THE HOOP (WIRE) IS THE  PART THAT IS ENCLOSED BY THE SKIN SO THAT THE SKIN CAN BE TIGHTENED BY THE STRETCHER BAND) .
I ALSO USUALLY HAVE RENAISSANCE HEADS IN:
8" (.50);  AND 11", 12", 10 7/8" AND 10 15/16" , EACH.
